Quick heads up to keep your bills flowing smoothly.

From 1 July 2026, new Australian AML/CTF regulations require all Sniip accounts to be verified. Identity verification (KYC) is a mandatory compliance step for every user. Your account stays valid, but you can’t make payments until your Sniip ID check is done.

How to verify in the app

It may be easier to do it now, while you’re thinking about it.

    Open your Sniip app and tap the menu in the top right.

    Tap Account, then enter your PIN or use Face ID.

  • 3

    On the Account screen, you’ll see your name in the top left.

  • 4

    Tap your name (or where it says Not verified) to open the Verify account screen.

  • 5

    From there, simply follow the prompts to complete your verification.
