PayTo Plus+ is Sniip’s smarter way to pay your bills straight from your bank account, with the added bonus of earning full reward points along the way. Traditional PayTo lets you authorise real-time payments from your bank, replacing clunky direct debits with more control and visibility.

PayTo Plus+ takes it a step further. It combines the security and simplicity of bank-to-bank payments with Sniip’s signature points-earning power, so you can pay eligible bills (BPAY or non-BPAY) using your preferred payment method and unlock full reward points on every transaction — even on bills that don’t usually accept credit cards.

PayTo is Australia’s modern account-to-account payment system, run by Australian Payments Plus (AP+) on the New Payments Platform (NPP). It lets you authorise payments directly from your bank account in real time, with far more control and transparency than traditional direct debit.

Sniip uses the PayTo platform to power PayTo Plus+, so your bill payments earn you reward points and are fast, secure, and authorised straight from your own banking app.

There are three big ones.

First, a strong base earn of 1 point per $1 with no cap on bills paid through Sniip.

Second, the ability to stack Points Booster bonuses on top, taking you up to 5 extra points per $1 with the Diamond tier.

Third, full control: every PayTo agreement is authorised, paused, or cancelled directly inside your banking app, so you always know where your money is going.

Yes. When you set up PayTo Plus+ in the Sniip app, you can link your bank account using either your PayID or your BSB and account number. Both options are supported across all participating Australian banks, and your banking app handles the secure authorisation of your PayTo agreement.

PayTo Plus+ works with most major Australian banks that have rolled out PayTo on the New Payments Platform, including ANZ, CommBank, NAB, Westpac, ING, Macquarie, Bendigo Bank, and many others. If your bank supports PayTo, you can set up PayTo Plus+ inside the Sniip app in under 5 minutes and start earning points.

You can use PayTo Plus+ to pay any eligible Australian bill on Sniip, including BPAY bills and payments to a biller’s BSB and account number. Set up PayTo Plus+ in the Sniip app, link your bank account, and authorise the PayTo agreement inside your banking app. Once it’s active, every eligible bill you pay earns you 1 point per $1 base. If you have a Points Booster tier active, you’ll earn bonus points on top — up to 5 extra points per $1 with Diamond. Points are credited to your loyalty of choice once your payment is processed.

PayTo Plus+ is designed to do exactly that. By turning routine bill payments into points-earning transactions, you can accumulate loyalty points fast on spending you can’t avoid. Stack your Points Booster tier on top of the 1 point per $1 base earn, break the points cap, and redeem your points for flights, gift cards, or statement credits — effectively offsetting the cost of your everyday bills through rewards.

Yes. PayTo is built on the New Payments Platform, Australia’s national real-time payments infrastructure, and every payment is authorised in real time through your own banking app. You can pause, amend, or cancel your PayTo agreement at any time directly in your banking app. Sniip also holds PCI DSS Tier 1 certification, the highest level of payment security in the industry.

Setup takes less than 5 minutes. You’ll enter your PayID or BSB and account number in the Sniip app, then open your banking app to authorise the PayTo agreement. You have 10 minutes to complete the authorisation once initiated, so it’s worth having your banking app open and ready before you begin.

Points Booster is a new Sniip feature that lets you earn more loyalty points when paying bills with a credit card. Pay with your card on Sniip as normal and you continue to earn your card’s regular reward points. Activate Points Booster at the point of payment and Sniip credits 0.5 to 4 points per $1 directly into your Qantas Frequent Flyer or Virgin Australia Business Flyer account, with no monthly cap. The tier you choose determines the rate.

When you pay bills with a credit card on Sniip, base earn is subject to a 2,000 point monthly cap on Qantas Points. Activate any Points Booster tier (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, or Diamond) and that cap disappears. You earn points on every single eligible payment, no matter how much you put through Sniip in a given month.

There are five Points Booster tiers, each with its own earn rate when paying with a credit card:

• Bronze: 0.5 points per $1 spent

• Silver: 1 point per $1 spent

• Gold: 2 points per $1 spent

• Platinum: 3 points per $1 spent (our most popular tier)

• Diamond: 4 points per $1 spent

You choose your tier at the point of payment, on a bill-by-bill basis.

Yes. Points Booster works alongside your card’s existing rewards program. You’ll keep earning your usual reward points (Qantas Points, Velocity, Amex Membership Rewards, ANZ Rewards, NAB Rewards, CommBank Awards, and so on), and Points Booster credits points straight into your Qantas Frequent Flyer or Virgin Australia Business Flyer account at the same time. Basically, you’ll be double dipping points on everyday bills.

Sniip accepts personal and business Visa, Mastercard, and American Express cards issued by major Australian banks, including ANZ, CommBank, NAB, Westpac, Amex, Citi, Bankwest, and many others. Any eligible credit card you use to pay bills on Sniip can earn Points Booster points when your tier is active for that payment.

You can pay almost any Australian bill with a credit card on Sniip, including BPAY bills and payments to a biller’s BSB and account number. That covers utilities (electricity, gas, water, internet), council rates, ATO payments, school and childcare fees, insurance premiums, rent, vet bills, and medical bills. Restricted industries apply. Yes. Whether your electricity, gas, water, internet, or phone provider accepts credit cards directly or not, Sniip lets you pay them with your credit card and still earn rewards. With Points Booster on, those payments also earn points at your tier’s rate, with no monthly cap.

Enter your bill amount, choose your payment method (Credit Card or PayTo Plus+), pick your loyalty program (Qantas Frequent Flyer or Virgin Australia Business Flyer), and select your Points Booster tier. Sniip will show you the exact points earn for that payment, with no cap when Points Booster is active.

Sniip’s standard credit card processing fees still apply, and these vary by card type and biller category. Each Points Booster activation also has a small per-payment fee that varies by tier, shown clearly in the app before you confirm the payment. Points are not earned on processing fees.

Points are credited to your default loyalty program, set once inside the Sniip app. You can choose between Qantas Frequent Flyer or Virgin Australia Business Flyer. Every boosted payment earns points directly into the program you’ve selected.

Each Booster activation has a small per-payment fee that depends on the tier you choose (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, or Diamond) and the bill amount. The fee is shown clearly in the Sniip app before you confirm the payment, so you always know exactly what you’re paying and what you’ll earn.

No. Points are calculated on the bill amount only. Sniip’s standard processing fees and Points Booster fees do not earn points.
