Sniip lets you pay any eligible bill with your favourite payment method including valid Australian-issued Visa or Mastercard debit or credit card, ‘Qantas Pay’ cards, American Express card, international/overseas issued debit and credit cards or PayTo Plus+.

How do I check how many Qantas Points I’ve earned with Sniip?

When did Sniip partner with Qantas Frequent Flyer?

Sniip officially launched its partnership with Qantas Frequent Flyer in April 2025, enabling every Australian-based bill payer the opportunity to earn Qantas Points.

Will I earn Qantas Points in addition to points earned on my Qantas Points earning credit card?

That’s correct! You can double dip and earn Qantas Points twice when you pay with your Qantas Points earning credit card via Sniip.

You can earn 1 Qantas Point per $10 transacted on your payments with an Eligible Card Payment Method and 1 Qantas Point per $1 transacted with PayTo Plus+*. These are in addition to the standard Qantas Points you earn on your Qantas Points earning credit card.

*Qantas Points earn on Eligible Card Payments are capped at 2,000 points per month.

When will my Qantas Points appear on my Qantas Frequent Flyer account after I make a payment with Sniip?

Great question! We process your points when we process your payment and that’s when we receive your funds.

The daily cut-off for next business day processing is 5pm AEST. Your Qantas Points should appear on your Qantas Frequent Flyer account by midnight on the next business day after processing.

What’s the cost of earning Qantas Points with Sniip?

There’s no additional cost of earning Qantas Points with Sniip. These points are a cherry on top of your payments with Sniip.

With Sniip there are no app download fees or recurring fees, just the processing fee per payment. You can explore our processing fees for consumer payments and business payments.

My biller doesn’t offer BPAY, just BSB & Account Number? Can I pay it with Sniip and will I earn Qantas Points?

Yes and yes. Sniip supports both BPAY and non-BPAY payments (payments to a billers BSB & Account Number).

To add a non-BPAY bill to Sniip, select the blue ‘+’ button in the top right corner of the app and select, ‘Import from photo’ to add a copy of your invoice.

Please ensure your invoice contains the following information for a successful import:

  1. The biller’s BSB & Account number for payment
  2. The biller’s ABN (we cannot accept ACN unfortunately)
  3. The total bill amount
  4. The words, ‘invoice’, ‘tax invoice’ or ‘receipt’

How to join Qantas Frequent Flyer for free?

Joining Qantas Frequent Flyer is completely free when you sign up using our unique link! Once you’re a member, link your Qantas Frequent Flyer number in the Sniip app to start earning Qantas Points on your bill payments.

Do Qantas Points expire?

Yes, your Qantas Points will expire if you haven’t earned or used a single point in 18 months. To ensure you keep your points from expiring, continue to earn or use points through the year. How can I sign up for Sniip?

To create an account, simply download the Sniip app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Once downloaded, tap ‘sign up’.

You can sign up using your Apple or Google account, or your email.

Once your account is set-up, select ‘Loyalty’ to connect your Qantas Frequent Flyer number to Sniip.

^Sniip Eligible Payment Methods, Eligible Bills, and T&Cs apply. Qantas Points earn on Eligible Card Payments are capped at 2,000 points per calendar month. PayTo Plus+ transactions can earn 1 Qantas Point per $1 in bill payments on an Eligible Bill. Qantas Points earn on PayTo Plus+ transactions is uncapped.

**Points Booster: Sniip users can increase their points earning ability for a fee by selecting the Points Booster feature prior to finalising a bill payment through the platform.
