How do I add a payment method?

You can use your Apple Pay/Google Pay wallet with Sniip. Or, you can manually add your cards or bank account details.

To add a payment method to your Sniip Wallet, tap the menu in the top left corner and select ‘Payment Methods’. If this is your first time adding a payment method, tap the ‘+’ in the payment methods screen.

If you would like to add multiple payment methods to your wallet, tap the ‘+’ in the top right corner of the screen.

When making a bill payment Apple Pay/Google Pay is the default payment method.

How do I scan a bill?

Let’s cover how to scan a BPAY Biller Code with Sniip to pay your bill in seconds.
Firstly, locate a BPAY Biller Code or Sniip QR code on your bill. The code is usually located on the bottom of your bill – this can be an electronic PDF on your computer or a paper bill.

In the Sniip app, tap the blue ‘+’ icon in the top right of the home screen and tap the first option ‘Scan any bill’.
Select the type of bill you wish to pay from the icons on the bottom of the scan screen (Sniip, BPAY, AusPost).

Position the Sniip/BPAY/AusPost code in the middle of the scan guides and ensure you have ample lighting.

When scanning the BPAY Biller Code, ensure both the BPAY Biller Code and Reference number are within the camera frame.

The Sniip app will recognise the code and add a digital version of your bill into the Sniip app ready for payment.
