About the role
Sitting within the Marketing Department and reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you’ll be responsible for a broad range of activities including content creation and design – no two days are the same at Sniip!

- Participate in marketing tasks as required, including market research, collateral creation + design, online content and customer emails
- Organise and order promotional and business products
- Website management and blog posts
- LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook updates
Skills required
- Strong verbal and written communication
- An eye for design with experience in Photoshop and/or Canva
- Able to navigate WordPress
- Familiarity with Ontraport (or a similar CRM)
- An ability to multitask and perform under tight and competing deadlines

About the role
The Operations Accountant position supports the Chief Operating Officer across a range of financial management and operational functions.
- Daily reconciliation of multiple bank accounts to ensure transaction flow is maintained.
- Performing all aspects of Sniip’s daily fraud management and transaction monitoring process, including but not limited to:
- Approving payments to and from our various payment partners
- Identifying fraudulent transactions, and completing investigations in a timely manner
- Monitoring the existing fraud portal and responding to fraud queries
- Identifying and implementing new fraud controls
- Examination and analysis to uncover trends and patterns and implementing appropriate controls
- Reconciliation of multiple bank accounts to ensure transaction flow is maintained
- Managing BPAY payment error corrections and refunds
- Maintaining compliance and regulatory requirements
- R&D timesheet activity recording and reconciliation
- High level customer service response
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary Degree or Certificate in Accounting and/or Business
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in financial management functions including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, reconciliations and general ledger
- Proven attention to detail, including data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
- High-level organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload and time management skills
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills to achieve outcomes
- Strong knowledge of accounting software packages (e.g. Xero) and MS Excel
- Risk and compliance experience preferred (e.g. Operational Risk, Financial Crime, AML, KYC, Risk Assessment, Regulatory Reporting etc)
- Ability to facilitate business solution workshops involving participants from senior management to business users
- Experience gained in Payments Industry (highly desirable)

Internal Relationships
Internally you will work with the different groups across the entire organisation including Finance, Operations Marketing and Development. You will also be required to regularly work and communicate with Senior Executives and External Stakeholders.

External Relationships
External to Sniip you may be required to liaise with service providers and external partners, but only under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer.

Overview
Working as a member of the agile delivery team to develop new features and automation tests for our mobile applications
Provide ad-hoc production support for either the native iOS application or Android application.
Attend, contribute and provide updates in standard agile meetings; elaboration, estimation, daily stand-up, retrospective
Contribute ideas and provide feedback on the continuous improvement of the solution and technology roadmap.
Qualifications
Recent graduate with GPA 6+ in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics degree.
Skills & Experience
Passion about mobile application development.
Self-motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude.
Well organised, diligent and has high quality standards.
Has strong understanding of programming principles.
Excited about working in a fast growing, professional start-up environment.
Keen to learn Agile development practices (Scrum and Kanban).
High coding standards with a strong emphasis on testing.
Desirable Technical Skills and experience
Experience in developing personal or commercial projects in Android (Java/Kotlin) using native Android frameworks (Jetpack Compose/Android Navigation Library/View Binding)
Experience using terminal/command line commands
CircleCI or other continuous development/integration tools
